Virgin credit card interest rates - help please!

I spoke with MBNA customer services today, the chap said they would lower the Standard APR to 19.9% fom the 27.9% it was increased to, to be reviewed in 6 months. A bit ridiculous as I have 5 months left @ 0% I guess and won't be spending on the card but its the principal that counts, getting the standard APR raised on a card I have never purchase anything on was annoying
I Think I'll just BT at the end of the promotional period then close the account. I would have kept the card for Virgin purchases for the 10% off, but not now.0
