making a dvd

i have downloaded a divx film with optional subtitles. now i want to put it onto a dvd to watch on a dvd player and have the option of keeping subtitles on or not. is there any easy way to do this? I have tried Toast and iMovie on my Mac and Nero on my PC but cant get it working.

Someone must know how to do this...

the description of the above link says that it doesnt support conversion of subtitles to dvd compliant subtitles. ill try it out and see. might have to google it again.

get convertxtodvd it will convert your avi movie with or without subs to a dvd disc

yeah, you need Convertxtodvd, easiest & best thing to use.

does convertxtodvd support the same if i have a seperate *.SRT file for subtitles and a divx/avi movie ?

or get a dvd player that supports divx/XViD you can get one from around £30+
