Investment Trap?

I just joined this website and wanted to hear some other people's advice.
I am currently investing in two American companies that are also operating in London as well. Seeing as the economy there is going down hill and interest rates are plummeting and the slow down of the American sectors are slowly starting to show in England. I was wondering whether it would be a good idea to pull out or wait for the economy to pick up again. Since not all companies are being affected as strongly I still have hope that they will pick up again before I loose all hope of returns on my investments.
Let me know what you guys think!

You'll need to post more details than that - who/what are these companies? What sector are they in? What is your risk profile? How long would you be happy to wait/hold for a return?

    Things like that.
You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...
