I bleached a couple of collars on my Husbands work shirts, and also a white top of mine (had gravy stain on front) and now they have gone a funny yellow colour. Tried a boil wash and more soaking, but the yellowness is still there. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately the damage is usually permenant, bleach removes colour, could you try to dye them a different colour? Soaking stuff for too long or in a solution too strong usually causes it.
There is a few things on this website http://www.howtogetridofstuff.com/stain-removal/how-to-get-rid-of-bleach-stains but unsure if any would work. Maybe worth a try.One day I might be more organised...........

You could try the whitener stuff for net curtains...?
It's just a cold soak, I think, and it sure as heck works a treat on curtains and it didn't seem to have any adverse effect on the odd few coloured bits my curtains had.
If your white top is now unwearable (is that a word?) (well it is now 'cos I just invented it
) then this just might be worth a try.
