Washable Baby Wipes

i have a 3 month old baby who is my fourth child and for the first time i have come across washable baby wipes on another thread.
Does anybody use these - do i need to make a special solution to use them or are they really just like a flannel to wash baby's bottom with in warm water. Thinking about getting some of ebay for about £10 including postage.
Thanks

I used these i made a solution of cooled boiled water with a few drops of tea tree essential oil helps kill bugs and put it into one of those spray bottles like the ones used to water delicate plants. I then used to spray my wipe before use. Never use neat essential oil on baby skin always mix with water.
You could also soak some wipes in a plastic sandwich tub in this solution ready for use when at home.
wipes can even be warmed in the microwave for a few second to take the chill off before use but ALWAYS check they dont get too hot
hope this is a help

When mine were in nappies I bought some cheap Smart Price flannels from ASDA and would just fill a bowl with some warm water and wash babys bum with them, popping them in to soak and washing them with the nappies. When I went out I had a water bottle that I would fill with water so I could moisten the flannels before using them.
It really is a much better choice over wipes (and all their chemicals), and makes no difference to the amount of nappy washing:)0 -
HOME MADE BABY WIPES (WASHABLE)
If you can sew (doesnt have to be neat)
save money make your own washable wipes.
They are a piece of fleece on one side and a piece of towelling on the other
you can use up your old holey towels and fleecy jumpers.
cut out pieces the size of you palm but square.
if you have an overlocker or zig zag stitch on your machine just sew all edges together with right sides facing out.
If you have a sewing machine or you can do it by hand, put right sides together sew 3 sides turn then sew up the other side, it is easy and doesnt have to be neat.
wash them ready to use EASY!
also sew up just 3 sides neaten or hem last side and children can use them as wash mitts. Get pretty fllece this encourages a child:j :j to

I use baby washclothes (6/8 for £1 from places like poundland). I get the worst of it all with some toilet paper, then use a soap solution in a spray bottle onto the washcloth.
I get the soap from here (baby bits) :http://www.babykind.co.uk/wipes.htmThe IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
