Best place to buy electric cooker?

I am looking for the best and cheapest place to buy an electric cooker. I dont want dual fuel or gas, just electric. We dont have much choice here, only Currys, Argos or Comet and these have pretty limited stock. Help please!

  • A mate of mine bought one "online" recently. He reckons he saved £200 on one that Curry's had in at £700.

I think he searched https://www.kelkoo.co.uk, but how about trying Tesco online?
  • I've used biasco.com for my cooker and electricaldirect.com for my other appliances. Both excellent delivery and service. I've had built in appliances, but both supply free standing. Also, I bought my free standing fridge and freezer from John Lewis - they beat Currys and Comet.
So many shoes, so little time....
  • Have a look at the Comet auction site.HERE

We got a £500 cooker for £100 + £23 delivery a couple of years ago.
Wha's like us - damn few, an' they're a' deid

I went around my local Currys/Comet/Euronics shops to find the cooker I wanted to buy - it's important to see it "in the flesh"!. I then did a search on Kelkoo to find the cheapest supplier. Definately worthwhile, as I saved £160.
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

we did some window shopping first too.... then ordered from https://www.robertsons-online.co.uk
They came out cheapest at that time for the model we wanted...and had no delivery charge.

We moved into a mobile home whilst we renovated our barn. I put in a brand new electric cooker - very basic, Beko. I got it from comet online auctions and only paid £50. I had to pay £25.99 delivery but when the cooker came it had a slight dent on one side that they hadn't listed on the auction. They immediately refunded my delivery cost. The dent is not visible when the cooker is in situ and anyway for a caravan, who cares! :T
