Im after a free password programme that i can use on my external USB hard drive (Western digital 120gb) as all i can find is programmes which offer ONLY trial periods then require payment. Have been advised on 'TrueCrypt' but some how i cant manage to get it to work on my external storage WD, (seems quite a complex set up, but probably me messing it up somewhere along the way)
Preferably something simple where i can just password protect the whole WD storage system or selective folders, dont mind paying a small amount if its easy and does the job :j

Hi, I have the same problem, couldnt get my head round TrueCrypt either, looked at nonags but couldnt find anything suitable. Just a simple password before the disk can be opened would be great. You would have thought WD would have provided some software with the drive.Old Faithful we roam the range together,
