Feeling much better today - went to see old employer as he wanted to pass a couple of clients on to me. Rang one there and then and he boosted my low self-confidence by being very positive and saying how he always liked working with me. Told him no office, working from home and I won't be any cheaper - no problem - result I say! :D

Got home decided to ring another client as she sent me such a lovely note when I left last year, (not to poach but just for a chat), she seemed pleased to hear from me and said it is just not the same and would like to meet for a coffee sometime. No work in it but good nonetheless.

So basically feel less of a failure this afternoon and spurred into - wait for it - a HHC at 3pm after which I will mow the lawns.

Just time to look at list and make a coffee
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Getting rid of the kiddiewinks for the afternoon tomorrow so think I'll catch up with the kitchen tomorrow. Can't be bothered sweeping and mopping now. Work surfaces & table get done everyday anyway so that'll be something else to cross off the list later.

Mudbath - I usually get a code from the discount codes thread so it usually works out covering the cost of the delivery charge at least if not a bit more off too. Also it avoids the impulse buying as well which can save the about the cost of the delivery charge sometimes! I'd definately phone the online delivery CS instead of store - I complained about driver being an hour late once and got delivery charge refunded without much hassle.

Shell - where are you??? We're all dying to know!

Really need to get some washing hung out and think about tea.

Most of the list is done, will do the floor when grotbag is in bed. Would have done it when she was at nursery as i usually do, but unfortunately no nursery today. We just made a lemon cake, it is now in the oven so looking forward to a slice of that later, num num.
