Not sure i'll do tesco online again. Lovely delivery driver though I couldn't stop him talking, lol, really good substitutions saving me money but a couple of things arrived that are the wrong flavour. Like summer fruits squash and I asked for blackcurrent. I can see why they made a mistake as it's more or less the same colour but my two don't like summerfruits. A couple of silly mistakes like that which I could accept but the customer services woman was carp when I phoned up. I have to take it back to the shop (I can't get there at the moment hence the delivery) or hand it in next time I get a delivery - what if I don't do another delivery. She was so snotty I doubt i'll do it again.
I've amazed myself with my list...only the bathroom floor to clean and that can wait as i'm putting my feet up as i've not stopped. Oh yes, haven't revised either so might do that for an hour now.

Mudbath.. that was probably a one off with the customer services woman.. they are usually fantastic when I call and refund the items I don't want and have on occasion when I explained I couldn't get there due to whatever reason sent out the driver with the correct items and said I can keep what we have been given in error. Was it the general customer services you rang or the local store? I've never had a huge unsortable problem.. I think sometimes it is just finding a balance that is right for you. Try calling the number you were given on your order confirmation..
.. they are usually great!

No word from shell yet?
Well WM man eventually came at 12.55pm, appt was between 8-1 so he just made it. Unfortunately it meant LO couldnt go to nursery:rolleyes: Hopefully thats it fixed now, i have one of my many loads of washing in just now.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
mudbath sorry to hear about your problems with Mr T. I would suggest that you telephone again telling them that you aren't pleased and you are not sure that you will do an on line order again due to the errors and also mention that you can't get in store.
If this doesn't work then send Mr T an email. They shouldn't expect you to have to wait until the next time you MAY decide to deliver.
Need your help
IO have been making some bread today and it looks great from the outside but as soon as I cut into it doesn't look cooked. I wonder if I need to reduce the amount of water?
Anyone got a fool proof recipe for bread. Thank youJanuary Grocery 11/3740 -
Not read todays posts... will catch up later
Not done much on the list as lil ones still being a little cranky pants OH off tomorrow so may pack him and baby off to his mothers for "an hour" (which always turns into 4..) Plus the hour walk there and then backshould give me time to catch up.
Wont be flying this afternoon as its GORGEOUS here and mum just turned up.. so were gonna tackle more of the garden that i started on sunday!
ETA: Getting frustrated with ebay... 32 watchers over 9 items... but only 2 of my items have been bid on...!! (even after i lowered my prices) i know most people wait till last min to bid - i know i do myself - but its soooo frustrating as a seller..:o :rotfl:

Pigpen, my sons clinic doctor said the same, I did ask if she was going to do the extra laundry for us! They haven't said about scanning mine yet, that'll be chaos if they do.
Shell, hope things have gone well.
Denise :rotfl: I've done that loads of times
Julie congratulations
Big well done for Charliewhat a super little guy, can he come and teach my 2 :rotfl:
jjef, I put airers outside, would that be worth a try until you get a line? We bought a caravanbit of a spur of the moment thing, ordered it before we even got the car
DP on his way to get the caravanAll excited and nervous. We practised getting the dogs in the new car today with the ramp (pleased I kept that from when I sold my 4x4) which went quite well. Went to get them new ID tags, ended up paying for flashing ones which I think will help for the late night walks as we won't be somewhere with streetlights when we go away. £50 spent in pet shop, amazing how quick a ball, some bowls (so can leave them in the caravan so I never forget them) treats etc can come to!
Not done much in the house, nothing unusual there then, but it'll be easier to do when the caravan 'stuff' is in the caravan instead of the house. I need to get our sheets off which I forgot to do this morning. Will do that before I walk down to get DS2. I have done some washing which is out on the line, yes, it's dry, for now.
Bad mummy moment of the day, I had to fill in a questionaire as part of a research project, I had to ask DS1 to come closer so I could see what colour they werehe doesn't 'do' eye contact usually, I thought they were green, but thought I best double check
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Lol, about the colour of eyes Lil_me, you've got me thinking. I think DSs are blue and DDs are bluey green...or are DSs brown?:rotfl: I'd better check when they come home!!
Thanks for the comments about the tesco shop. Like I say, it was only the stupid customer services woman who annoyed me, I accept they make mistakes. I rang the number on my receipt and will ring again. I'm not bothered about getting a replacement as we can live without squash I just don't want to pay for something we won't use. Pigpen, do you find it worth doing the shopping on the internet even though you have to pay for delivery?
Wonder how shell is - hugs to you whether are you! xx0
