My broadband connection keeps cutting off, think its to with the driver as when i go into device manager it says device did not start properly and says it couldnt load driver software.
I got a disc last week from bt for replacement driver files as my original installation disc was for xp, i am now on vista, working well up til this afternoon so dont know whats wrong with it?
I can get online for the first 5-10 mins, usb light keeps flashing but as soon as it goes to a solid green light then i lose my connection.
anyone help?
thanks

Phone their support line. Then if still not working ask the question on the BT forum- if they have one on adslguide. This question may be a bit narrow and very subjective to you IPS, UK area you live in and your exchange is located, and the type of modem you are usingGOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.

Try connecting the modem/router via the supplied ethernet cable (if i recall correctly it has yellow ends) to your computers network card (assuming it has one). This will eliminate the USB driver issues and run it over a standard network. The network cable will fit into 1 of 4 (again if i rember right) ports on the back of the router and will only fit 1 on the back of the PC. Good luck.0
