Hi,
Has anyonw opened an Wesleyan Bank account? According to there website http://www.wesleyan.co.uk/bank/classic_3241.html they provide two types of accouts witha Visa Debit Card.
Priviledge Account - Current Account with a Gold Visa Debit and Cheque Book
Classic Account - Savings Account but comes with a Classic Visa Debit Card
The Priviledge accounts shows a £8 monthly fee but there is no fee for a Classic Account.
Has anyone opened the above accounts? Any feedback?
Thanks
MS

I personally wouldn't open or upgrade to a bank account that had a monthly fee unless I was absolutely certain that the benefits would outweigh the monthly fee.
I'm guessing that with all the reclaiming of the extortionate bank charges and the credit crunch we're not going to be able to have free banking forever and may eventually have to pay then.
I am hoping that is a long way off so I can get my house in order to enable me to run my finances out of 1 current account instead of 2!
In answer to your question though, I don't know anything about Weslyan Bank so can't comment.

I agree account with monthly fee is not worth to open but they do offer a savings account with a Visa Debit Card without a monthly fee.
Wesleyan account also comes up ona moneysupermarket compare current accounts.
Possiblt it's not worth to open as banks such as LTSB now offer Visa Debit on there basic account.
