childcare question

I have luckily just had all my grants and then sorted so am asking this for a friend. she has just had the childcare forms back and wondered how you estimate how much you need for childcare.

Any help would be great:j

I'm not sure if this is right but it's the way I did it. I just spoke to my after school club provider (the only type of childcare I'll need) and got them to quote me how much it would cost for me to send my two 5 times a week then sent that in.

I know I'll not need 5 sessions a week but I know when you get your childcare grant you have to send you're invoices in after 3 months and can re adjust your claim if you need more or less.

I've opened up an account specifically for my childcare grant because any you don't use you have to send back anyway so I figured its best to over estimate til I know exactly what my scheduele will be then re adjust it when I know.

Hope that makes sense cos I do tend to ramble when I'm trying to expalin something ( lucky for you I wasn't explaining directions hehe):D

No problems, Finance for uni is very confusing .
