    Good luck ITBS. :)

I agree. You don't need to leave DFW.

The experience you have, or have gained, can help a lot of people on either board while you are here.

    Hi everyone.

Just thought I'd pop in and say thanks to everyone for sticking with me on this board and giving me your support.

Unfortunately due to the overzealous HMRC wanting their pound of flesh I have no option but to go bankrupt. Hearing booked for this coming thursday.

TBH probably a blessing in disguise as at least now I dont have to worry about the red letters etc, and with my job being mainly cash I should be able to make sure I still have enough left to live a "decent" life;)

I suppose in a way I am no longer a dfw but now debt free:D

Thanks again to eveyone and feel free to pop in and see me on my new home, the bankruptcy board.

    Best wishes

you can still hang about here we dont kick you out just cause you change you know ...i mean i even made it debt free for a couple of months :rotfl: :rotfl: (didnt last long)

And I hang out here and I don't have any debt!

I use these boards to help me keep on the straight and narrow and to get tips on how to save a few pennies on groceries etc as my budget is small and it would be so easy for the downward slope to start again.

Mind you, I have had experience of being in debt (repossessed in 1994 which left us £30k almost in the hole), so at the moment it's more like a crutch to me in these times of tightening belts.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Glad to hear you'll be popping back when everything's sorted.
I'm now debt free:D but wouldn't dream of leaving, like others have said this board keeps me on the straight & narrow & it's one of the friendliest too!!:p
    Good Luck :A
