It is a sonic toothbrush from Tescos and is the " Sonic Plakaway". Very impressed with it, vibrates 30,000 times a minute and comes with 2 heads. Replacement pack of 4 heads is 4 quid.

I recommend this brushing system highly. I was looking into the philips sonicare but the price scared me off and this seems to do the same job for a lot less.

thanks for this ... just a word of warning .. the 50,000 one is not advised for young children,, i asked my dentist abt this and he advised not to get the faster one as childrens teeth are softer than adults...

I don't tend to recommend these brushes as there is some anecdotal evidence that these ultrasonic brushes can contribute to gum recession.

I find the Oral B Braun standard electric brushes do a perfect job cleaning and are relatively inexpensive also!

Not much use to most people, as you have to be VAT registered or know someone with a card.

Maplin do not have cards and include VAT in their prices.
