Any better deals than the YBS for my £6k?

I've got 6k with YBS I've been saving over the last 12 months which has had its interest added today.
When I opened it, the total rate was 6% but it's slipped and I'm wondering where to move it to (if anywhere).
I've already filled my ISA quota and don't need access to it so was wondering about a bond, or if there is anywhere I can put it and add, say, £50 per month to take advantage of a good deal?
I just don't want to leave it sitting with the YBS if I can get a better deal elsewhere, but haven't seen anything that catches my eye yet.

There are quite a few fixed-rate 'bonds' around the 7% mark at the moment, e.g. Moneyfacts 'best buys' or this site.0

cheers - that's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for.

If you want to stick with the Yorkshire, and can tie your money up for two years, they have a fairly competitive bond offering 6.5%. You will only be able to add to it as long as it is open to new applicants."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0

Keren, do you mind if I query how much interest you got please? I had £215.32 added for my £6k (non tax payer). I just want to check that's right.Herman - MP for all!

Just noticed that YBS have also launched a 1 year online bond paying 6.5%, in addition to the 2 year bond paying that rate0
