I currently have an ISA account with NatWest but the interest rate on the account isn’t brilliant. Is it possible for me to open another ISA with different provider?... I opened my NatWest account before April if that makes any difference.
Yes, you can open & pay £3,600 into a Cash ISA for the 08/09 tax year - you could also transfer your NatWest ISA to the new provider (assuming that they permit inward transfers) or to a different provider offering a better rate.

You can also put the money away in any savings account and fill an R85 form out to get tax free interest, but you must not be earning over your personal allowance.
