Got this e-mail from Sainsbury's Customer Services

    Dear RaptorX,

Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry you have not been able to buy PG Tips special pack in our Walthamstow store recently.

I can assure you that it is our aim to ensure that the shelves in all our stores are well stocked at all times.

Occasionally, however, we suffer from unavoidable local supply problems. I am sorry if that was the case on this occasion, and I can fully understand how frustrating this must be. Having checked on the system, I can see that the product is still stocked at the store, so if I could ask you to speak to Customer Services at the store, they will be happy to let you know if there is a temporary supply problem.

The product code is 018/056 .

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us.

    Kind regards,

    Kerry Jones

So has anyone in Glasgow managed to find one? I've tried Tesco St Rollox, Siansbury's in Darnley and Morrisons but no luck yet. I feel I'm on a mission now!!! :p
    Claire :)

Have you tried Tesco in Pollok or Milngavie? Someone on here got them at the end of last week in Pollok and I got two in Milngavie on Monday. Somebody also posted that they had called Milngave Monday night or Tuesday and they were expecting more in so worth a try.

  • Loads in Tesco, Beccles. Looks like East Anglia's Tescos have finally got their mugs. Morrisons has now run out of stock and won't be getting any more in.

Got a couple from Cambridge Tesco (Newmarket Road).

They're not terribly practical though. They're pretty small, have lots of nooks and crannies inside making them difficult to clean, and you can only use them right-handed.

I raced to Tescos yesterday morning at Tadcaster road - not one left - when I asked at CS they said none had been delivered that morning nor at Clifton Moor!

May decide that I am not bothered so hopefully then I will stike lucky.

  • There were a half empty pallet of these wonderful mugs in Sainsbury, Crawley this morning. Not with the other tea items, but at the end of the aisle near the wine section.
