I'm hoping to tap into the experience of people who know how banks like to play Follow M' Leader re Regular Savings Accounts - there's A&L paying 12% but you need their current a/c, several paying around 7-8% if you take other accounts/insurance with them and Halifax's (old) version paying 7%.
Now Halifax are upping that to 10% with a 2% "bolt-on" bit and Barclays are doing 7.75% clean - is it likely that other banks will follow suit and bring out new RS accounts soon (as is the case in the Term Deposit war) and who would you say are the most likely - the players big enough to battle alongside Barclays & Halifax?
