What about Howard from the halifax. Is he going to get the boot?
He got the boot last month. I reckon they should have kept him on as mascot for the new LloydsTSBHBoSpoppy100 -
The price of shares can go down as well as up. If you think they'll go up then buy!
If the shares were bought before 9am this morning, you could have got them for under a pound. Now they are worth £1.44. But at 9.30am it would have been quite a gamble. By 11am when the news was out about the merger it heading towards £1.50. I'd imagine they will shoot up in the morning.

But will Lloyds drop because they are overpaying?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Have 800 shares in HBOS. I understand HBOS is now ripe for a buy out by a bigger financial institute due to the fall in value of some £4b. If this was to occur, what would happen to my shares in HBOS?? Would I completely lose all of my holding.
Should I sell now or wait for the price to recover, thats if HBOS doesn't follow Leiman Brothers??
Julian you should post more often, seems you guessed better then me:T0 -
