  • The spread on HBOS share prices I saw on H-L this morning was really high :

    Sell £1.75
    Buy £1.35

    or thereabouts. Is that the marketmaker taking the money then?

    No...only if someone buys and sells at the same time which is unlikely.

    The market maker is probably losing if someone bought at 175p and now they are higher !!!!!!

  • Now is the time to watch Lloyds TSB shares, now that a merger may take place.
    if they rise then it proves there is still confidence in the Banking Industry
