messed up my report

Hi there. I completely messed up my experian report. I did not know how everything worked till last week.

I needed some money £20,000 by March 2006. I applied to 2 credit card companies (BOS and IF (which apparently from the same company)) and 4 loan companies (A&L, Natwest, Halifax, and Sainsbury) all within 1 day, and all using Experain as source. The first 2 I applied for were for BOS and IF CC got accepted and all the others got declined. Now, I know why.

I have never missed a payment. I think my credit score WAS good, then, because of all these searches in 1 day, I'm now in the poor zone.

I know the searches stay in your account for 1 year, but what's the impact on the credit score as time goes by? Do you think I have a better chance of applying for credit after 3 months, or will I just get rejected again, so even more negative score.

Since most companies use experian instead of equifax, I think I will end up using one that uses experain.

Also, for the Super Balance Transfers, I think all of these cards use Experian.

Please help.

Have you got your £2 report from experian and equifax. How many searches are on each in the last 6 months?

I would leave it at least 3 months before applying to ONE again. Although the longer you leave it the better. 6 months would be best, but that is a bit tight if you _have to_ have the money by March.

    Cheers, Des.
