They investigate any concerns arising from a claim. It's not uncommon for claimants to receive a visit from Customer Compliance Officer's, it's something the DWP introduced about two years ago, and most often it's to check that you're getting the right amount of benefit you should be on. They sometimes check identity, circumstances, savings and fraud.One day I might be more organised...........
