I should have stayed renting!!!!

Bought a house last year and have had nothing but bad luck, but then it is number 13:eek:

When we rented it was a third of the price and we could have a life!! all I have now is bad luck and a horrible neighbour!!

Are there any positives??

    This a WUM?

Anyway, you made your decision. Surely nothing beats the satisfaction of being a home owner at any price.

Umm, you can redecorate, get a cat. That's all I can think of.

And the capital appreciation obviously, hahaha.
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!

    Paint the outside bright pink?

You can't really moan about the finances as you should have calculated all that before buying.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    :rotfl:

A home owner? Don't kid your self. Who owns your home dopester?

Tell you what, default on the mortgage for a few months then you'll find out who really owns it!

Lots of good points above, yes may paint it bright pink that would be fun.

Yes by defaulting I would find out who really owns it!!!

Yes did do calculations and can afford it but don't like it!! Plus you don't know your neighbours till you move in, can' predict that:eek:

Oh well that life, lets get on with it:beer: only 24 years to go!!

Actually, I made a point of calling on the people next door to the house I was considering buying and checking that they were OK before I put in my offer.

And one great advantage: so long as you continue to pay your mortgage, no-one will force you to move out. If you are a tenant, the landlord can decide to move you on for all kinds of reasons, and you have no control. The money you waste on forced house-moves can really add up, as well.

Glad you asked LittleMiss I don't know what it means either:o

Also to one of the reply's above, we knew the neighbour before we moved in as we bought my Grandmothers house, but you don't know somebody as well until you living next to them!
