ingham ski holidays are offering a discount of £400 as a early booking for a december holiday, does anyone know if this is a long term offer should i book now as i was going book a last minute deal but this offer looks good.

You have to be very brave to book this early a December ski holiday- snow does rather increase the success of such a holiday. Aim very high. Also a £400 discount is probably not a good as a last minute discount (when you know if there's snow on the ground).

if you are planning christmas week or new year then go for this deal, otherwise wait for last min cheapies, I have gone with inghams 3 times and the first time I paid full price, the other times I have waited for a deal

as for it being a long term offer, it is not their usual offer (upto £200 per couple) so I would think that it is not a long term offer

Have you tried lastminute.com ? Don't know if they go that far ahead, but I have just booked a holiday from them, which is in Inghams Lakes & Mountains brochure got over £1000 off brochure price for holiday in August.
They seem to have a lot of Austrian Hols as well which are inghams - looks like this is the place they sell their last minute hols with - also went through quidco & got £65 cash back.

the one they have at the mo is "book on line and save upto £40 per person"

they often have last min deals so unless you are going peak holiday time I would wait
