Evening all,
Can't believe the time.
My dfw things for today:- Opened a Nationwide account (hope I get card on time before I go on holiday)
- Greggs - used 50p luncheon coupon
- returned item for DH and got refunded back to his account
- posted off Ebay items
- buyer for another Ebay item contacted me to arrange pick up for item (will save me time finding suitable packaging and getting my parents to take to post office - larger than my usual items)
- did a couple of clicks on cashbag which I haven't done for months:mad:
- brought cheap new Thomas & friends dvd for DS (cheaper than shops)
- sold 1 more item on Ebay which I've packaged up already
- had breakfast & lunch at my parents
- 2 x lots of washing done at 30 deg and dried outdoors

Andan - I'll know pretty soon, it's on the Holland v Wales match tomorrow!
Bet £25 SR at William Hill at 1.28 and laid £26.02 at Betfair also at 1.28. Qualifies for free £25 SNR bet which I can use from midnight... finding that more confusing to work out what to look for when I go to place that - ie higher odds eg 8 etc or some level of gap between them whereby the bet odd is higher than the lay odd. I think I need food, my brain is fried from reading all the gambling threads...
Obviously signed up via quidco too...£10 cashback.
(A bit annoyingly, from my quidco first month hunting free money, am already signed up to Gala & Paddy Power, and seemingly Coral too (maybe as partner with Gala?) so can't take advantage of some of their free bet offers. I wonder if I delete account now quidco cash been paid for them, if I can sign up again... I think probably not, as that'd be some big loophole!!)Debt - Loan: £1150 C/C: £4763 @ 0%.0 -
Have to say, where is everyone today?!!
Not a very dfw day today for me as i was at a tutorial for O.U most of the day and then had to go into a town ten miles away to do my audits, so didn't achieve as much as i would normally do, however what i have achieved are quite important steps that needed focusing on.
-So, had O.U tutorial, good for future career plans
-Our group went out for a meal at the pub, which wasn't so good, but i had a meal deal so had a sandwich, chips and a drink for £4.50, so rather pleased.
-Have done two audits
-Used young persons rail card so cheaper train fare
-Had to wait between the audits (2.30hrs), so went to starbucks and got a hot chocolate for £2.50:eek:, but made it last for an hour and a half whilst i did loads of work:rotfl:
-Filled in rest of job application form (in starbucks)
-Went through loads of marketing and business advice i had got from the internet so have got it more ordered so know where i am with it and what needs doing and where to advertise and how. Its slowly coming together, i don't want to rush it though and mess it up so am using another site which has loads of valuable advice for holistic therapists starting out.
-Recieved a delivery from vista print with all my business cards, postcards and t shirt for my business, very excited.
-Looked in bookshop for more relevant counselling books
-Started reading up on TA for my TA course
-Avoided having tea out and have instead come home and made use of yesterday's left overs, doesn't taste too bad with cheese melted on it. Yesterday i joined the challenge on the old style board to see how many days you can go without throwing any food out. Am terrible for this, so really want to cut down on it. Yesterday's low wages made me think i need to live even more frugal than normal!
-Heard back from a bank job i went for and i have got it, it just means i fill in as and when they need me, however that will be good for me to do the odd night here and there and a boost to my wages.
-Am also sipping on the red wine i opened last week. Don't normally like red wine but we have it in the house and its better than going out and buying some white
-Took some food bits and bottles of drink out with me today instead of buying expensive diet coke whilst i was out.
Hope you've all had a good day.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Klane, it sounds like its all gone in then, well done, as it can be hard to get your head round at first. Just remember for your fee bet, that the stake, ie the £25 is not returned to you. All that means is putting £25 in the stake forfeit box on the matched betting spreadsheet and it will do the rest for you. Best of luck and once you start you'll be so glad.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

- Reconciled my bank accounts with MS money - I want to do this once a week from now on
- Started reading 'Love is not enough' (subtitled "a smart woman's guide to makig & keeping money)
- Made soup from scratch & froze it ready to use for packed lunches in the week
- Resisted buying a couple of 'treats' that I'd normally buy on a Saturday (flowers, family sized chocolate, trip to the deli for lunch)
If you want to see how much difference the little stuff makes, try entering the cost of the saturday treats into the demotivator tool down the right side of the page and see how much those few treats are costing you each year:eek:0 -
