public transport..cambridge to pershore worcestershire?

any ideas on this on folks

need to get from home which is midway between stansted /cambridge so either of those , to pershore worcestershire

any ideas on the easiest /best value way to go

Is there any chance you could get to London Paddington instead of Stansted? It's a direct rail journey from there to Pershore taking just over two hours.

If you take this option, split the journey at Oxford (Oxford - London benefits from cheap advance tickets)

By train, Cambridge to Birmingham from £8 single, then Brum-Pershore for £12:20 return, then £8 back from Brum-Cam, or Stansted + £28:20. The £8 fare is for specific trains, you have to travel at the time/date booked, the £12:20 should be available on any train, maybe not peak times.

Get the X5 bus from Cambridge to Oxford (from £1 booked as megabus) then the train from there - about £13 single or £18.50 saver return

Or the Stansted - Oxford coach, and train as above

The station is a fair way outside Pershore but there is a half hourly bus service - in the day at least.
