    Contact his oncologists secretary at the hospital treating him and ask for a DS1500, this will fast-track the DLA application process to a matter of days (you will still require to get a DLA application pack though, do this tomorrow by phone - get a carrers application at the same time).

    It's probably the special DLA fast-track.
    i agree with you people with terminal illness get as u say fast tracked and it is usually a given,
