I am inheriting around 7K from my nan in the next month or so. I want some work done to the house but not for a while so would prefer to invest for the time being.
I already have an ISA that I paying into so and therefore cant use that.
I would prefer to be able to get good easy access to the money as and when I need it.
Any recommendations of where to invest and put in

Investing typically means putting the money away for a period of time usually 5 years or more (although modern investments are typically available without penalty give or take 2 weeks). It usually means taking on some degree of investment risk as well.
Whilst you say you want to invest, it sounds like you are looking to save the money. Can you confirm it is savings/deposit based accounts that you are looking at or is it actually investing?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Yes probably more save/deposit rather than keep it in account for a while as would like to use the money as and when0
