Holland ferry from hull

Hi,

Ok probably been asked before, but how can I get to the hook of holland or rotterdam on the ferry farely cheaply. I can't seem to find a return journey for less than £225. My OH is unwilling to drive all the way to calais when we live so close to hull.

would you be willing to drive to stansted as ryanair have really cheap flights to various places in Holland and car hire is cheap once you are there?

North Sea Ferries offer affordable fares for foot passengers. Once you are in Holland, public transport is good so you will not need your car.

Park the car at Hull, then either use public transport or hire a car out there.

Is it more expensive because you are travelling overnight with a cabin - you could go by day from harwich to hook but I don't know what that would cost
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

This is one of the great travel bargains at the moment: book two weeks in advance and it costs about 29 pounds, including a train ticket to anywhere in Holland.

what Voyager2002 is talking about is the rail and sail and it's brilliant value - it will mean not taking the car though - https://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/rail-and-sail/holland/ if you still want to take the car then its http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/routes/harwich-holland/fares/fare-typesHTH

Ok, hello again everyone, I still haven't booked my ferry yet and it seems to be getting dearer by the day. Unless I can bring the price down from £249, I will have to not go. As it is an october sailing I want should I just be brave and wait it out?
