Hi
Does this mean that you can fly out to europe, go to a cashpint and draw out 500 in euros without any charge?
what would be the conversion rate compared to going to the post office?
I just went to the post office site and converted £500 to euro and then sold it back.
£500 = €612 = £440
£60 down - wow
with the zero card the interest rate is payable if you dont pay it within a month?
any help appreciated
Thanks

Are the T&Cs of this card not on the Abbey website?
Why would you want to buy £500 worth of Euros and then change them back?0 -
I didnt, just wanted to see what I would lose.
Just got back from cyprus. Booked the holiday, exchanged my currency (£400), then friends and I upgraded to all inclusive, so spent !!!!!! all money and then had to change it back.0 -
You would pay interest from the date of withdrawal - that's the only snag.
The conversion rate would be 5% or a little more worse at the Post Office where spreads are usually around 5% for buying and 7 to 8% for buying back
Apart from that it's fine.0
