Save money free for your kids: up to 20% every time you shop

Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere, but I'd never heard of it, and it sounds like a great idea. Just found out about from an article in The Times:

http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/money/savings/article4029355.ece

"Children's perks
When parents sign up to KidStart.co.uk, they earn up to 20 per cent back on purchases made on their debit or credit cards at hundreds of online or high-street retailers. This cash is deposited in either a Child Trust Fund or a nominated children's savings account. It is free to join, and is also open to grandparents or friends."

See http://www.kidstart.co.uk/

Seems you can get grandparents to do it, too - all helps! :)

Thanks for the spot - it's worth watching because it looks quite new still and amounts can vary between cashback sites.

It's similar to Quidco, moneyback on purchases, it would pay to check the savings though -

    for example,

    M&S 4% kidstart, 5% quidco

Prudential car insurance, £38 kidstart, but a whopping £75 at Quidco.

I get my Quidco paid into my account I use for child benefit, so it stays separate from the main account where it would be swallowed up.

    Hope this helps!
