Help my Zanussi ZWF1210W not spinning!!

HELP!!

My washing machine isn't working properly and I don't know why!! When we used it a couple of days ago it seemed a bit noisy but as we'd just had a new floor laid we assumed it was just us moving the machine about. I've used it once more since and it was fine but now this morning the machine hasn't spun the washing to dry it out so its all wringing wet!

This is the end for our machine or should I look at getting it repaired?!
Thanks

How old is it and what warranty does it have, if any?

My mother has a Zanussi ZWF1421W and it started being very noisy but was working OK, luckily it was only 11 months old so was still under warranty. Turned out the drum bearing was knackered (fantastic build quality as you can see!) and was replaced gratis.
Was told if it wasn't covered, it would cost around £150+ all in to replace. It can be a DIY job if you've got the tools. Was told it's a similar level to replacing brakes or wheel bearing on a car.

This site might help narrow it down a bit for you.
  • I've spoken to a repair man and as I also seem to be getting oil type stuff leaking on some washing he said it is the bearings and not worth repairing.

Its about 3.5yrs old so no warranty, but thanks everyone. Hubby has treated me to a new one and its being delivered tomorrow!!!
