Ceramic floor tiles.....choose smooth or non-slip?

I'm looking for ceramic floor tiles for my kitchen-diner and for my bathroom.
I have found two I like at Wickes:-
HAVANNA, a flat smooth cream coloured tile. Here is the link:

SANDSTONE EFFECT, a rough textured cream stone-look tile.
http://www.wickes.co.uk/Ceramic-Floor-Tiles/Sandstone-Ceramic-Floor-Tiles/invt/166280
The rough surface makes it non-slip which would be an advantage if it got wet.
My question is: Is a textured tile harder to clean? Not much time (or inclination) so I intend just simple, quick mopping.:p
Also, both tiles are grey-brown through and through. This is because they are not the expensive porcelain sort. I suppose if they got damaged, say chipped, it would be easier to conceal with a small blob of paint in the swirly stone patterned tile rather than the plain cream one?
Any thoughts from tilers or recent tile buyers or anyone else reading this?
So which would you choose and why?;)

Personally, I would go with the smooth based on what you have said. I have rough textured tiles and they are horrendous to clean. They have been sealed, on more than one occasion, yet them still seem to absorb stains and you can forget a "quick mop". All the dirt sticks in the crevasses and it's a "down on hands and knees with a scrubbing brush job". It's the worst decision I ever made buying these tiles and I am having them ripped up when I get my new kitchen

Well I have smooth tiles in my BTL kitchen and it is like walking on an ice rink. I've no idea what it is like when it is wet
GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.

We have these in our kitchen http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9277567&fh_view_size=6&fh_eds=%3f&fh_sort_order=1&fh_sort_by=_price_rrp_min&fh_location=%2f%2fcatal!!!1%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3c%7b10099%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b9001021%7d%2fspecificationsProductType%3dFloor+Tiles%2f_common_price_range%3d0-10&fh_refview=lister&ts=1212232914291&isSearch=false
which have undulation like real stone on them (zoom in on the pic and youll see what i mean). The undulations gives you a bit more grip under foot. They aren't too slippery when dry (except when wearing slippers with no grip on the bottom). The dog manages to stop from sliding on them most of the time. When wet they are a bit more dangerous but you still have some grip. No problem cleaning though as although there are undulations in them the texture is quite smooth.
The Wickes Havana tiles look ok on the website but don't look as nice up close in the shop and didnt seem that great a quality (what do you expect for £5/sqm). They seemed really slippery when wet too.
