Internal LTSB transfer times

Can anyone tell me if the time before an internal is made between LTSB current accounts is affected by the weekend?
As I understand, if you request a payment 'today' is will only leave your account 'tomorrow'. The transfer itself is 'instant' but its timing is always delayed
What about a request on Friday? Does LTSB move payments on a weekend or (like my standing order to monthly saver) is it also delayed until Monday?
Thanks

I cant speak for LTSB current accounts but on the other banks I have used
(RBS to RBS/Nationwide to Nationwide) any money that is moved within the bank appears instantly in the receiving account.
Movement between my LTSB current account and Regular Saver is instant so I assume it would be the same for all their accounts? If you have an account to test, why not try moving a small sum of money over?0 -
Instant transfers will not take place over weekends unless the bank is open on a sturday which then it is likely it still will beDELETE ACCOUNT.

My LST current account shows amounts moved between my instant saver and websaver and curretn account instantly with online banking. If i pay money off my Lloyds credit card or personal loan it takes 3 days plus.

Granted. The question, though, is when transferring to another current account (i.e. not your own) also held at Lloyds? My LST current account shows amounts moved between my instant saver and websaver and current account instantly with online banking......under construction.... I've just transfered some money to my DH's account (also with LTSB but a different branch) and it went through immediately.
I think this only works between 8 -4 on any day of the week, after(or before) that it becomes a queued payment to go on the next working day, so if I'd done it yesterday evening, it would have queued until Monday.

Thanks colnkits for a very complete answer. (Well, who'd have thought internal transfers would work like that eh?).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
