Help - the best way to transport Muffins?

I am making 100 muffins (full size cupcakes; ie: sponge based) and 60 mini muffins (mini cupcakes) which are for a friends' wedding present. How on earth do I transport them??
Bearing in mind they will be royal iced with piped flowers... (So not stackable on themselves, IYSWIM.)
I do have a stackable three tier cooling rack which may be pressed into service..
Anyone have any bright ideas??

Do you have any trays? I've done this before (though not quite so many  ) and covered the trays with clean tea towels. HTHSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0

Thanks stressedoutmumof1! I don't have enough trays (only one, sadly) or tea towels to cope!0

In boxes? Each box can have a layer of cakes in, and the boxes will be stackable.0

what about dinner trays as opposed to baking trays, even pans with tissue paper between layers. - or take a drawer out of chest of drawers - that would hold a lot! Or under bed storage unit - Poundstrecher 3 for £9 they could be stacked and pad them out with kitchen roll or tissue paper or bubble wrap.No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

The drawer idea is fantastic! But I am hoping for a lift - do you think that would work/be possible?0

I got some veg boxes from the supermarket, lined them with clean paper and packed them in, stuffing the gaps with kitchen roll. It would have worked quite well but I have a heavy right foot and the [strike]ski jumps[/strike] speed bumps on my street are as big as everest
I covered the boxes in clingflim too.

Hi, like chika said in the big supermarkets i think its the banana boxes that
stack and are quite big, cover well with some cheap cling film so if they do slide they won't go on top of each other, but the cling should help to prevent that
