Fancy dress suppliers let me down

Last week I ordered three items in readiness for a fancy dress party tomorrow from an internet company. The happily took the order and said it would be dispatched promptly. Waited a good few days and nothing. Rang to find out that they didn't have 1 (nor would get in time) one of the items. Did they bother to tell me no. Did they send the other item no.

With time short I rang another company on Wednesday who promised 24/48 hour delivery but they only had two of the items. Rang today to find out where it is and it hasn't been sent and the party is tomorrow.

So today I had to ring around fancy dress shops, travel miles and was still only able to get one item.

Have you got anything sorted for the remaining two people yet? I've got one cheap and cheerful suggestion...........buy a pack of balloons........all green balloons or all purple balloons...........attach them to your clothes and go as a bunch of grapes.:D

Someone else is bound to come up with suggestions.

We have to go as film or pop stars from 60,70 or 80's.

We have decided on Kojak and Miss Piggy. Going to buy a gold swimming hat for OH as we can't get a decent joke one in shops. I have a pigs nose and feather boa etc.
