to find Corgi installer(s) in your area. Try to get at least 3 quotes.

Can't recommend anyone in the area but someone else may able to assist. Although to find a Corgi installer the Corgi website is a good place to start.

i am corgi in Glasgow your quote will be quite high for labour as you are supplying the boiler , how do you intend to register the boiler if you yourself are not Corgi registered .

Last time we had to replace the boiler, we bought the boiler ourselves to save some money – then none of the boiler installers wanted to know…and the ones that did quoted silly labour charges.

Not surprising. Tradesmen need a certain amount of profit per day to stay in business….take some of their profit off them by supplying your own boiler and the labour costs go up to compensate.

Two other things to think about……

We’re electrical but get serious discounts from out suppliers so even after we have added our 10% we are often still cheaper than joe public could go and buy the same item (or at least not much more expensive)

Warranty….if it goes wrong in the future is it a boiler fault or a fitting fault? If your plumber supplies and fits then no problem otherwise you can end up in the middle of an argument
