Take a look at www.aboutvalencia.com
It's only about 6 or 7 miles from Valencia airport to the city. It would depend where you stay in Valencia as to how far you are from any beaches.
For hotels take a look at
www.octopustravel.com
www.alpharooms.com

The nearest beach to the town centre is a 15 minute tram ride away. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Doubt it you will get any all-inclusves in the city of Vallencia though - try one of the holiday resorts, Calpe or Peniscola or Benicarlo, they are all within about a 40 min drive of the airport0

thanks very much both of you will have a look now, i am just looking for a cheap quick get away, found cheap flights but looks like the hotel are more expensive thanks againIT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:0

Last month i visited this region of spain - i found the hotels in valencia to be very expensive however if you go up the cost to one of the resorts the prices tumble massively. there are lots of resort transfers operating cheaply so getting to the resort will not be a problem.0

If you search this board for 'Valencia' you'll get several recent posts on this subject.
Here's one to get you started (ignore the discussion on football!) ...

We stayed at the Expo and were most impressed. However, overnight parking was €18.50!
As posted above, the city of Valencia is NOT a seaside resort which is why you won't find any 'holiday' hotels around.0 -
thanks again both of you i am travelling alone now with two children so didn't want to have a long confusing transfer is it easy to get to the other resortsIT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:0

The places that are extremely easy to get to are Gandia, Denia, Benidorm and Alicante. Direct buses/trains run to these and they take about an hour and a half. the stations are easy to get to if you use the metro from the airport into valencia city centre.0
