Evening all, hows the party going then? I have just realised that I have no wine in the house. That is not good, I have half a bottle of Baileys thatl have to do.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    I'm back!!!

Via Tesco Express and now have 3 pints of cider to get through and a big plate of bacon sandwiches to demolish. I wasn't going to stand and cook sausage, mash and peas and miss out!

I don't like driving and spend my whole life like I'm on a driving lesson, but I drove extremely 'assertively' whilst getting him the 4 miles across town - whilst keeping within the speed limit obviously (too much of a scaredy cat to speed!!) and at one point an idiot in a purple souped up c0ck- mobile pulled out in front of me at a give way. I had to do an emergency stop and OH was just about to light a cigarette. 'T0sser' I shouted at the guy.

I'm not quite sure if the cigarette went up his nose whilst stopping. Couldn't quite see. :rotfl:

Between home and the club, I pointed out where I've picked him up the last 2 times (the last time at 2am) and I calmy said 'just to let you know, I will not be picking you up from there later'

    'ok' he said sheepishly........:D

Good job I didn't drive 'assertively' back - I was followed by a cop car most of the way home and I suddenly went back to quivering law-abiding granny-esque driving citizen.

My XOH is also being crap. Trying her best to rub my nose into things. But I view crapness as being a "Oh shiit! The butter is on the other side of the bread!" kind of moment.

whenever DS's dad gets on my nerves I just think "this is why I'm glad I don't have to live with you anymore", makes it so much easier to tolerate. he's ok most of the time but goes through irritating spells - generally when he's got a new woman or worries at work... but he doesn't live here!
