Just received a letter in the post from United Utilies. They have a special offer on their Plumbing and drainage cover at £2.99 per month for 5 months, usual price £5.41 per month, a saving of £12.10.
Does anyone know if this cover is any good? I tend to find there are too many excusions for my liking in most of these policies. You can make 2 external (up to £2000 each) and 2 internal claims (up to £1000 each) per year but it doesnt cover central heating, a plumber will be with you within 2 hrs. More details are here.
