Help! Going Places question - can't get through on the phone!!

I have a deadline of tomorrow to pay my balance for holiday in August. I just phoned 0871 664 7801 and got a voice message saying that the office is closed due to unforseen circumstances and will reopen @ 9.00am on Sat 29th September!!

Anyone know anything?

29th sept thats a long time to be closed
I know many GP stores are closed for a couple of days due to refubishments.
Maybe phone up head office, number should be on your invoice/final balance letter and see what they say.
If there is another GP store near you, you should be able to pay there. Depeneding on which systems they are using.

My local Going Places has been rebranded as Thomas Cook. Our holiday was booked with Air Tours but we were advised some months ago that we are now travelling with Thomas Cook. We leave in just under three weeks and I collected my tickets from the TA yesterday.

Getting through to Thomas Cook on the phone is a nightmare (Going Places are part of Thomas Cook) - it's easier to get an audiance with the Pope, than talk to someone at TC.

Agreed - it takes ages. I tried another number. This time I didn't get the message but waited for ages. In the end i phoned a local branch and paid the remainder.
