Hello everyone, hope you can help me with this worrying problem I've just started experiencing (you techie experts have always been patient and very helpful in the past thanks!):
In the last couple of weeks my pc has for no apparent reason just crashed, about 4 or 5 times now and I can't figure out why. It happened again today, within the last hour just as I was surfing this site - I wasn't running any other programs other than the usual automatic background services and security firewall/anti virus etc.
I can't think of a better way of explaining the error message screen because I can't make head or tail of it! So I took pics/screenshots and I hope someone here will be able to make sense and advise? Thanks in advance guys:

The PC is an AMD Athlon 1900xp 1.6mhz,80gb (61% free space), 512 ram.

Hi. I don't really know much about this at all but came across this site - go to about half-way down the page - http://btfaq.com/cgi-bin/fom?_recurse=1&file=34 - and look for the question - 'What can I do if I get a blue screen error.....' Hopefully this will be a starting point at least for you.0

they seem to be things in your temp internet folders
you can turn them off by going to Internet Explorer then "tools" , "internet options" then click on the "advanced " tab.
if you scroll down to security there is a box to tick that says "empty Temp internet files folder when browser is closed"
you can also tick the one about not "saving encrypted files to disk"
running CCleaner, which i notice you have, deletes the ones it finds at the time but IE sets up more next time you surf !!
these were designed for 56k modem days, if you are on broadband then it is no problem to turn them off (and more secure !!)Ex forum ambassador

The crashing has nothing to do with temp internet folders, the location shown in your screenshot is a temporary folder where Windows put a memory dump for debugging purposes.
The blue screen of death you're suffering can be caused by many different things. The main suspects are:
1. A system device that's incompatible with your motherboard or has dodgy drivers
2. The RAM in your PC is failing.
Have you installed anything new recently, or updated a driver if not?0 -

Browntoa, I've just checked in the advanced/security part of internet explorer
and I don't have "empty temp internet files folders when browser is closed"
It's not listed under any of the advanced options, I've double checked one by one. I do have the "saving encrypted files to disk" option and it's unticked so I have ticked that now.
I wonder if I've messed up my version of Internet explorer? I tried out IE7 beta a few weeks ago then reverted back to the current version and all seemed well - until now!0 -
no sure about that one...I use version 6
did you just delete IE 7 beta or restore back to a restore point ?Ex forum ambassador

I have installed 2 new things in the last month or so: a Logitech webcam and an Epson R300 printer. Both are working ok and haven't given any problems when running.0 -

I did a restore point because if I remember correctly it didn't want to uninstall from the add/remove panel.0 -
