Best bank account for somebody just got started in Ireland

Hello guys!

I just got over from Germany yesterday and will soon start working here (Belfast, Northern Ireland). I start looking around for a bank account that will fit my needs and found the info about Alliance & Leicester's "Premier Direct Current Accout". Think that one might be nice BUT... problem is I just joined here and they want
Your residential history for the last 5 years (including postcodes)
So that one will not work for me, right?

What else shall I choose? I would need a credit card with that account but I will not get to spend much more (if any) money than I will earn.
