Hi,
I use MS office outlook, and when i click a link in an email, i get a box popping up stating 'This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your administrator. Any clues?

home computer? If so, sounds like you were sold a pre-installed pc that has 'hidden' admin login, and you've been given a guest login.
