Thermal board

Has anyone any experience of this as a solution or help with damp caused from condensation? A plasterer I trust has suggested it may help.

Plasterboard isnt a CURE for damp/condensation, all it does is move the problem to a different (cooler) surface.
condensation only occurrs where the air is full up of misture when it hits a cold surface it condenses and leaves the moisture to be seen (condensation), ventilation is the cure as is higher temperature, the higher the temp the more moisture the air carries, and ventilating the room means the moiste air is replaced (yes it does mean the expensive warm air is lost)

Is thermal board the same as plasterboard? I think this is designed to stop the wall from getting so cold and condensation forming. Maybe. Any ideas?And if, you know, your history...0
