Please advise guys:
I'm buying a home overseas (Canada) and am bringing £45k from UK to Canada for the downpayment. How can I do this to get the best exchange rate possible to maximise my downpayment?
I wish MSE had a Canadian arm!!
Many thanks

I suggest you try Barclays International. When shifting thousands around the world they've always given me 'Commercial' rate and charged me no fees etc.. This being nearly the same as 'spot rate' is far better than tourist rates etc.,You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" Large print giveth - small print taketh away.
