why are you only using a 4gb why not reinstall on the 120gb one?
Most likely the icons are being blocked by the browser for some reason. When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0 -

I think the firefox thing being grey is just a bug with the latest version it should work by just clicking and typing in it.
Personally i use Opera its my favourite i think Firefox is best for most people because its very similar to IE in ease of use, i dont recommend using Internet Explorer generally because it often is more of a security risk than 3rd party browsers.
maybe some of the new functions in AVG 8 are blocking the smilies in IE not sure, or it could be a setting within IE but im guessing its more likely to be something blocking supposed adverts which are in fact smilies (my best guess). When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0 -

My next question is on 3.com dongles can you help me on that one, if I buy one can I still have 4 pc's/laptops connected or do we all need a dongle and is the only place to get a dongle from '3'?to be updated:;)0 -
you mean this right? http://www.three.co.uk/personal/products_services_/mobile_broadband_/detail.omp
Its not really a replacement for Home Broadband in fact it isnt even close its really good for people who roam a lot with laptops and can afford and justify the costs involved but potentially can cost you a lot more money than regular broadband can. There is also often long contracts 18 months in most cases and if you cant get mobile signal you wont get this either so can be unreliable. Its also much harder to share the internet access because the modem or dongle is usb connected.
I only recommend these types of devices for buisness types who need internet access from anywhere, anytime such as someone i know who uses it for Internet access when hes away in hotels and B&B's in various parts of the country. When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.0
