CALL DIRECT 50 will be launched w.e.f. 31.5.08: a 50 day notice post and telephone operated account with a minimum investment of £250 paying 6.30% yearly (6.13% monthly). Rate guaranteed to be at least 0.50% above Base Rate until 4.8.09, then at least equal to Base Rate until 2.3.10. Earlier access on 50 day loss of interest. Withdrawals by cheque or BACS.
