Which Travelodge (one word)? There are lots in London, some of them on the outskirts can be a fair bit cheaper.

I have stayed at Wimbledon Morden, Park Royal and Wembley and had no problems getting into central London on the tube.

    For example at Battersea:
    Sun 13th Jul £29
    Mon 14th Jul £29
    Tue 15th Jul £49

    Total £107

The one i was looking at is the one at city airport. We are flying into Stanstead and going to do a tour of the theme parks i.e. lego land..chessington..thorpe park, plus visit central london, so any which will be handy to allow easy access to those places would be good. I dont know london that well, so just picked the city airport one.

If you search for 'London' on the Travelodge site it shows you 10 locations (by default). You can change this to 20 (or 30) to include more Travelodges in the London area.

Scottishf...the only one I know at City airport is one of a chain all over Europe. I stayed in one in Saltzburg. Its cheap because it is stripped back of all luxury. No carpets - just lino, plain but clean and good. Really just a place 'en route' to overnight when you are travelling....can't for the life of me remember the name..will think about it. Travelodge in Putney is my favourite, reasonable price and easy for connecting to central London. Good luck.

I stayed in the City Inn in Westminster last night, that was nice despite the scaffolding covering the entrance.
No idea how much it cost though, I didn't pay :rotfl:
