Card from the Royal Mail saying I need to pay the short postage to receive a package, can only think is something from here - I called the sorting office and it was described as a tube in grey plastic the size of a pen????
Any ideas?

No idea what it can be, but I had a similar experience and didn't want to pay the £1.50 'ish being asked for what could have been junk mail when collecting it from the post office.
I explained this to the guy at the desk and he let me look at the package first to see if there were any identifying stamps or labels before parting with money. It's worth asking if they'll do the same for you.0 -
I had to pay £1.15 for one 'free' teabag as they had not put enough stamps on the packet. :eek:wins so far =

its always worth a trip to the sorting office..if its not an inconvenient drive or walkaway...but then, my postie will always try at least twice more before leaving the red card thing...most of the time though I catch him as he always parks up at the end of our street before he flies off...All these years since I left school and I've never once had to use Algebra0

We had it this week for a brochure from a housing development
Why can't people get their heads around the new pricing!
I will probably complain to the sender.0 -
I don't what your mystery item is..sorry!! - but I once got a brochure from a mail order catalogue that I had to pay for.. I was not best pleased so sent them an e-mail and they sent me a £10 gift voucher as an apology with no minimum order req & I could include the postage in it aswell... got some really great Jelly moulds and a thingy that opens cans!!..so well worth taking it up with the company if you do ever have to pay for post because of their error!!!0
